Jeisson Olarte The 21-year-old Veleño Artist has had several recognitions in painting, among them the winner as a Muralist Artist from the Government of Santander and the acquisition of a Cultural Work to the Modern Museum of Bucaramanga-Santander, Colombia.

Jeisson Guillermo Olarte Barbosa, 21 years old, a native of Vélez, Santander, the folkloric capital of Colombia, interpreter of several typical instruments of this beautiful region where I have had the opportunity to represent Vélez-Santander at a National Level. His painting career began 5 years ago giving his first brushstrokes at the National University College of Vélez with the painting teacher Alfonso Torres, and he also received art classes at the academy of the Master of Fine Arts Daniel Fabian Parrado Arciniegas there he obtained the bases essential to start in this world of Art, has had artistic recognition in muralism by the government of Santander and has also had art exhibitions in different places of Vélez Santander and the acquisition of a work that is part of the "New Names" collection in the Modern Museum of Bucaramanga Santander. He is currently studying and acquiring various knowledge empirically and putting into practice what he has learned in his artistic works.
